Remember those Singer sewing machine pedestals I bought a while back? Well, Ross cleaned ours up (the other one is for my mom), painted it with clear spray paint, and bought a slab of marble to make the top of the table. I really like the way it turned out. Now we have a side table for outside. It will be perfect for when Ross uses the grill.

It looks fantastic. The other day the wife was watching some show where they clean out people's houses and sell the junk and they sold a sewing maching table and the machine for $300. I thought it was unreasonable and couldn't believe the guy actually went for it. Considering that they hassled another guy into buying a VW bug (not working) for $400 and a woman into buying an upright piano for $800 for her church I almost wondered if they suplement the prices off camera just to make "good" tv.
