I Miss...

Half our stuff is in storage.  We have lived without it for 6 months, so sometimes I wonder if we need any of it.  I do miss some things:
  1. My ice cream maker(s).  A couple of times I have wanted to make ice cream, but I can't.
  2. My books.  Sometimes I want to look something up, but I don't have any of my books with me.
  3. My Passover plate.  Last year it came too late to use it.  This year Passover is early, and the plate is in storage.
  4. My picture frames--the stuff that hangs on the walls.  We don't have totally barren walls here, but I miss my paintings, pictures, drawings.  Right now I'm especially missing one of my colored pencil drawings.  I want to do another art project based on it, but I don't have it as a reference, and I can't remember exactly what it looks like.  The original watercolor is also in storage.  Also, I miss seeing the Duomo every day.
It is kind of sad.  That's all I can think of right now.  I can't even remember what all is in storage.  I suppose that just goes to prove we could live with a lot less stuff.

half of the other storage unit is books, the other half is furniture.
