We got to spend some time with Tejal this past weekend. We ate (at Hut's) and ate (ice cream at Amy's), and ate (at Magnolia Cafe). We also hung out a little bit.
Ross with his two wives. Twice the nagging, none of the love.
Food. Drink. Obsession. Ranting.
On Saturday we went hiking. The big tree looks totally different now that it has leaves. Tejal and I climbed up and Ross took photos. He kept teasing us because we were scooting along the lowest branch instead of standing up and walking. Ross jumped up onto the tree, stood up, took two steps, and ended up on the ground on his back. See kids, don't be a Ross.
After our hike we took a break along the river's edge. I even put my feet in for a while. The water was cold, yet soothing.
Saturday night we went to Longwood Gardens and walked even more.
On Monday before we took Tejal to the airport we went to the dairy one last time. We really didn't want to let her go.
Ross and I had heard and read about the du Pont gardens and decided to go check one out with Tejal yesterday. I was a little pooped from hiking and sleepy after eating, but I'm so glad that we went.
Tejal bought us gifts. She's such a sweetheart. She got Ross the best gift ever. We were standing in the kitchen and Tejal handed Ross a Gamestop bag. He peeled back the bag a little and saw that it was a wii game. Cool. Ross started to feel bad, issuing lots of "aaaaw"s and "Tejal you're too nice to us." He started to pull out the game and saw the words "All Star." Ross thought it might be a karaoke game. Okay....But then he saw the "Cheer Squad" part of the title. Thoughts like "Oh, shit, what did she do?" and "Oh God, I hope she doesn't want me to open this and play it right now." started to shoot through Ross's head. Of course he was thinking "Maybe I can return this."
We got a third controller for the wii. It made Mariokart that much more fun.
