A couple of weeks ago I was coming home late from school and got caught by the speed camera. I saw the flash go off and I've been waiting for the bill to come in the mail. It showed up this week. Oh well. Forty dollar fine. Nothing like Texas where I'd be paying through the nose.

Just two weekends ago, Ryan was driving my car, I was in the passenger seat, and we saw that dreaded "gotcha!" flash go off. That's the second time Ryan got a ticket on my car in that same exact spot!
I'm expecting the ticket to arrive in the mail soon. He offered to pay it. Better have. Ha!
No kidding about Texas vs. Maryland ticket fines!!! I remember getting a $300 ticket for going 46 mph in a 35 mph zone. I took the dopey online safety course to pay only about a third of the fine. Maryland is nothing compared to the Lone Star State!
On the original photos you can actually see my Texas flag magnet! I miss Texas, but not those Texas-sized fines!
