Flashback Friday: Pretending I'm A Model

I remember pretending I was a model doing a photoshoot when this picture was taken. We were near Cloudcroft, and the water was freezing (there is a measly waterfall going on there, but you can't really see it). I think I was maybe 6 when this photo was taken. I think my Aunt was the driving force--encouraging me to get up there for the pictures. The original photo has rounded corners. Man, I had long legs!

Flashback Friday: Asleep with Baby Bailey

This is my all-time favorite photo of Bailey with her Papi. We had just gotten Bailey. Her ears were so big, her eyes were still grey, she had a fat belly that barely had any fur on it, and she was the cutest thing on Earth.

Peacock Blue

We saw at least 15 peacocks yesterday, well, about half of them were peahens. All but two of the birds were in the trees, making photographs difficult. The camera doesn't truly capture the brilliant, shimmering colors, especially the way they change in the sun. At some angles this bird's chest looked violet-black.

Random Photo

Last time we went to the peacock park the peacocks weren't being very cooperative photo-wise. I liked the way the feathers were glinting in the sun. This photo doesn't quite capture it.
