Flashback Friday: Stepping Out

This photo was taken May, 1996 in Austin, TX. Sometime around my college graduation. My fine fashion is from JC Penny, where I was working at the time. My strappy sandals are Nine West and I thought they were the bomb. I think Ross is wearing my sunglasses. This was before I had surgery. And before I had my teeth fixed--but my smile looks pretty good here. Dang, my hair was long.

Flashback Friday: Virginia Beach

In April of 2000 Ross was doing wind tunnel testing in Virginia. I flew over to visit. I'm pretty sure this was the first time I touched the Atlantic Ocean. I loved those 100% linen Laura Ashley pants so much. I still miss those pants.

Flashback Friday: Zero Gravity

While recovering old photos from a hard drive I found this one that I didn't even know we had. This is Ross experiencing zero gravity in the vomit comet. I'm thinking it was Spring of 1999.

Flashback Friday: Pretending I'm A Model

I remember pretending I was a model doing a photoshoot when this picture was taken. We were near Cloudcroft, and the water was freezing (there is a measly waterfall going on there, but you can't really see it). I think I was maybe 6 when this photo was taken. I think my Aunt was the driving force--encouraging me to get up there for the pictures. The original photo has rounded corners. Man, I had long legs!

Flashback Friday: Asleep with Baby Bailey

This is my all-time favorite photo of Bailey with her Papi. We had just gotten Bailey. Her ears were so big, her eyes were still grey, she had a fat belly that barely had any fur on it, and she was the cutest thing on Earth.

August 1992: I'm (Coca-Cola) bottle feeding a goat. My hair is so big! Check out that backwards hat and Where's Waldo T-shirt.

Flashback: Twin Peaks

This week I watched the pilot of Twin Peaks on Netflix. Man, that took me back.  Back to Jr. High.  I love the music.  I remember I had it on cassette and listened to it over and over again on my Sony walkman.  And I remember I was totally enamored with Agent Cooper.  I thought he was so handsome and charming.  I wanted to be Dianne on the other side of that tape recorder, listening to his voice as he went on about pie and coffee.

Twin Peaks was the Lost of it's day.  We all wanted to know who killed Laura Palmer.  And there were so many twists and turns and so much weirdness that if you hadn't started at the beginning it was impossible to follow.  Watching Twin Peaks again is going to be a trippy trip down memory lane.
