Dreaming of Black Ops

I was looking through a fashion magazine while Ross was playing Call of Duty Black Ops. That made for some interesting dreams. I dreamt I was playing Black Ops and getting jewelry and other accessories as prizes for kill streaks (instead of spy planes and turrets). I was playing Fashion Black Ops. Somehow that transformed into Interior Design Black Ops. I was getting furniture as prizes in my crates and using hacker pro to turn the couch into a love seat. Very funny. Who wants a SAM turret when you can get a great handbag? Ha!

The Double Tap

In the movie Zombieland the main character has all these rules for surviving. One of them is the double tap. Even if you think the guy is dead, shoot him again. The rule really comes in handy when playing Call of Duty. Some of those guys just won't die! So remember, when confronted with Zombies or enemy soldiers--double tap.

Extra Eyes for Black Ops

Ross says I'm the best girlfriend ever (nevermind that we are married) cause I watch him play Call of Duty Black Ops (for the wii) and help him by by telling him if I see guys for him to shoot. One problem that we have is that Ross doesn't know his left from his right. To try and solve this I put two post-it notes on the TV. I put a star on the left side and an apple on the right side. I still haven't gotten the hang of saying "guy on your apple!"

Sometimes I get really into it. Just now I shouted "Claymore!" and actually saved Ross from blowing himself up with his own claymore. I get all excited when he actually pulls of knifing someone or shoots someone in the crotch.

Tonight Ross was putting the kettle on and I picked up the wiimote and decided to play a round. I killed 7 people and died 12 times in a round of hard core free for all. Not too bad for a newbie (Ross just had a round where he killed 3 people and died 12 times).

When school starts we won't be able to sit around playing black ops any more. And maybe I'll stop dreaming about it.

That's Cool Too!

Yesterday we finally managed to go to the library when it was open.  I picked up some graphic novels and more bed time books.  I used the awesome self check out machine, and Ross went through the line. Why?  Because our library has video games, including wii games! Ross had to go through the line to get the disc--he checked out wii SSX Blur (snowboarding game).  So cool.

Updates

Yesterday Ross took Ethan to see Wall-E. They both liked it. After dinner Tiffany and I went to the gym and worked out. The class had too much jumping. We won't do that one again. While we were working out the boys were playing Mariokart. We joined them after we got back from the gym (and had some chocolate and wine). Ethan was in a great mood and was having a ton of fun. He kept laying on Ross's outstretched legs and saying "Comfy!" I wish I'd gotten a photo. He also came and sat next to me and said "How about you tickle me?" It was the funniest thing. I said no, because I didn't know where he was ticklish so he was kind of confused. Then I tickled him all over testing to see where he was ticklish. He tickled me back and we had a go round of "juicy leg!" I grab his leg and say "Juicy leg, juicy leg, juicy leg!" then he does it back to me, then he went around and did it to everyone else. He was so excited that we were visiting.
I've been really good about working out. I think I have 380 minutes so far this week. We will go to the lift class tomorrow. My muscles are sore, but I suppose I'll get used to it. I was too beat from last night's class to go to this mornings weights/cardio class, so I only went to yoga. Robert has me totally flipped out about the teacher touching people and now I notice it and it creeps me out. I did all right. It was good to stretch out a little. Shelby did a beautiful king pigeon pose and the teacher helped her practice scorpion! I did a couple of headstands during our rest periods. My weight was almost down to my low yesterday am, but I had soy sauce last night... so I'm back up today. We are having sushi with friends tonight, so I'm going to drink lots of green tea and try to avoid the soy sauce. I am so tired....
My piercing doesn't fit anymore. I'm going to see Justin tomorrow to see what we can do about that....I can't wait! I have so much to do today and tomorrow, but I feel like being lazy. I suppose I should make a to do list and see what all I have to tackle.

My Baby Loves Me

Although Ross keeps likening it to Homer buying Marge a bowling ball, I think Ross buying me Mario Kart is really sweet. I am going to try it out tonight, just to make sure it works. I'm so excited. I love getting presents!

Ethan Plays Wii

We got to visit with Robert, Tiffany, and Ethan on Saturday. Ross took the wii and after dinner we played some wii sports. Ross and Ethan teamed up boxing against Robert. Ethan was pretty good at golf, and it took him a while to get the hang of bowling, but he was good at that too. We were there until 1am! We didn't even get the chance to play Mario Party 8 or Raving Rabbids, so we'll have to get together and have another wii party soon. Hopefully we'll have the patio ready soon and they can come over and see it.
